We can't help but share....

We can't keep it in any longer... we've had some lovely feedback recently from our valued clients. We have to share!

The deputy CEO of a local YMCA project told us "Thank you for the work you have undertaken on this project - it is much appreciated and has been really professionally undertaken".

Fits like a glove...

It’s not just muddy fields or sites in the open air that require SI work. Terra Firma (South) recently planned and undertook cable percussive drilling indoors. The works will enable pile design for a new mezzanine floor as part of an innovative office space development.

Our precision planning and liaison with our client and partners lead to a smooth operation in what could have otherwise been a tricky set-up. Employing algebraic calculations to model the arc of the rig, our team ensured that the site could be prepared with minimum disruption to enable the works.

It's not just our recommended foundation solutions that are Rock Solid!

Steve, Paul and Sam went head first into the Rock Solid Race last weekend, proving that a little bit of mud is all in a day's work!

The Terra Firma (South) team negotiated freezing lakes, icy rivers, wobbly boards, muddy dunks and hydro slides to complete the course in a respectable 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Well done team TFS!

Spring has Sprung with our Growing Team!

Terra Firma (South) welcomes two new members of staff to the team!

Sam Reed, Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, joins the team from his recent MSC studies at Camborne School of Mines (University of Exeter). Sam has literally hit the ground running and has already met many of our clients and undertaken site works. With a background in mining, Sam is perfectly placed to meet the demands of many typical sites in the South West and is a great addition to our team.
